My studio sits within the rolling hills surrounding The Black Isle in the Highlands of Scotland. The constant and dynamic changing of the weather showing the landscape in all its glorious colours, is a huge source of inspiration for me.

I have the freedom to play and create, not only a painting, but a visual daydream for the viewer to wander through. Colour is my passion. Painting in abstraction allows me to immerse my thoughts and feelings in balance and colour. I try to capture feelings of joy and lightness in each painting. I believe that art has the power to inspire, uplift, and transform, and I strive to imbue each piece with that same transformative energy. 

Mainly working with Acrylics my pallet knife is my most favoured tool. I love to merge colours and textures to create movement. As an artist my work is constantly developing and evolving, as I discover new techniques and mediums to bring the images in my head to life.
